Have you helped an elderly neighbour before? Do you show empathy for other people? Have you helped raise children? And how did it make you feel?

If your answer is anything along the lines of ‘it made me feel pretty good!’ – you are the person that we are looking for.

Job Description
Our client is offering the opportunity to join their team as a Care Assistant doing night shifts, based in their nursing home in Newport.

They don’t look at application forms just for qualifications or work history – they look for the person underneath all of that so this is a fantastic opportunity for somone that is new to the social care sector.

Our client provides the training and will teach you how to do the role. All they ask is that you are a reliable, hardworking and naturally caring person.

The role (and their residents!) will keep you on your toes – no two days will be the same. From personal care to joining in with activities, this is a varied role that will send you home with a great sense of achievement and pride.

This is a full time post, 38.5 hours per week, working 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week with every other weekend off. The shifts are on a rolling rota, so you’ll always know what days you are working each week – great for planning ahead!
