Salary: £15.78 per hour – Under 2 years post qualifying experience £17.51 per hour – Subject to 2 years post qualifying experience
We are currently looking for flexible, qualified social workers, who take real pride in their work, relish the prospect of a challenge, and are driven by a genuine desire to safeguard and help vulnerable children.

You will have a proven track record of working within a statutory Children’s Services setting, and knowledge of current practice and legislation. Demonstrating a flexible approach to short term, outcome focused work, you will show adaptability towards working in generic safeguarding teams, as well as specialist teams.
This is a great opportunity if you have had a break in service and wish to return to social work on flexible basis to suit your individual circumstances. It also presents the chance to gain further experience in a statutory setting in order to maintain Continuing Professional Development and meet registration requirements.

Your role could include undertaking assessments, providing social worker cover when needed, managing cases, leading on specific projects and ultimately being responsive and proactive to the needs of children and their families.
