We are one of the largest learning disability charities in the UK, supporting over 2,500 people through our friendly, supportive, creative and diverse teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Day Service Management Team in Flintshire.

About the role

The Team Coordinator post is an exciting new role to Hft Flintshire. You’ll be leading a team of support workers to support adults with learning disabilities to have the best day possible. With a 70/30 split between hands on support and off roster management time, you will be a role model to others through demonstrating excellent support and you will help the Cluster Manager to coach, support and manage people effectively. You will be responsible for nurturing and inspiring those coming to work for Hft, ensuring we have the best teams offering great support services. As well as making sure the people we support are safe and have a range of opportunities that bring colour to the day.

This role also offers great opportunities for career progression to help you develop your knowledge and skills. We are recruiting a Team Coordinator to work in Hwb Cyfle, our purpose built day centre in Queensferry. We provide support to up to 50 adults a day with moderate to profound and multiple learning disabilities. The hours are currently between 8.30 and 4.30, Monday to Friday. However, in the future we are looking to expand the provision to cover evenings and weekends.

You also need to hold or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3 (or equivalent).
