EIP Recovery Practitioner

Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.

Hours: 15 hours worked over 2 days (9am – 5pm)

Salary: £22,387.61 per annum (pro rata)

Located at: Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Early Intervention Service, Forglen House, Risca, Caerphilly NP11 6GQ

Role Purpose:

An opportunity has arisen for an encouraging and sympathetic individual to join the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. This service aims to provide early intervention to its users and families living in the community – focusing on the direct needs of young people experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

The post holder will work with their own caseload experiencing a first episode of psychosis from within the counties of Gwent. They will provide recovery focussed early intervention support with a focus on clients’ social, emotional, and vocational recovery, in collaboration with and complimenting the clinical interventions provided by ABUHB EIP practitioners.
