An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist with a special interest in Single handed care, to be part of Denbighshire’s Moving with Dignity Project.

The successful applicants will need good moving and handling knowledge and experience to work alongside citizens and their carers providing training and confidence building during the early stages of using new items of moving and handling equipment.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Occupational Therapist responsible for the Denbighshire Moving with Dignity Project and be expected to work with citizens and their nominated carers in the citizens home during care calls to provide the support and training necessary to embed a change in moving and handling equipment or technique.

A Professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration is essential.
