A young woman who is visually impaired and has become very isolated is seeking a Personal Assistant to support her to access her community and become more independent.
There are no personal care needs but experience or knowledge of working with adults with a visual impairment would be an advantage or a willingness to learn and undergo training.
You will be required to provide support for the employer to get around and do her shopping. Accompany the employer to appointments. Support the employer with any correspondence. Encourage the employer to get involved in social groups and activities.
