Newport City Council Childrens Services are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Senior Practitioner within Child Protection Team 3 who can make positive contributions to transform the lives of the families we work with. You will work within a service that is focused on person-centred and strength based approaches committed to achieving Wellbeing outcomes that enable families to safely live together.

For this role you will be a practitioner with a professional social work qualification, DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent and registered with the Care Council Wales (or able to transfer from HCPC or similarly recognised body).
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
