£34,723 – £38,296 (Grade I) *plus market supplement.

Temporary post to cover maternity leave from December 2022 until August 2023.

A Market Supplement of £1,091 to be made in March 2023.

We are seeking a qualified & registered Social Worker (degree in social work, Dip Sw, CQSW) to join a well-established Childcare Team based in the County. We have a committed and stable workforce, so this is a rare opportunity to join a successful and progressive department. As part of our innovative approach to practice the team takes a systemic approach as well as using Signs of Safety.

Working in partnership with service users, their carers, and other professionals, you will manage a caseload and practice in a person centred and outcome focussed way. Undertaking assessments, producing and reviewing care and support plans will be fundamental elements of your role. You in turn will receive regular supervision and be part of a supportive environment in which there will be opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

The ability to travel within the county is essential.

You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
