This a 30 hour position.

What is the role?
This service provides a range of services for 4 incredible individuals with a range of learning disabilities and support needs who share a home in Caldicott. The service promotes positive well-being and building independence to allow each individual the opportunity to develop new skills. In addition you will be supporting 3 individuals who are living independently in the area who each have their own home and manage with just a little support from our team.
• You will be working with these incredible individuals to enhance their various skills, providing them Supporting Individuals with their Individual needs.
• Supporting with individuals’ hobbies and activities.
• Encouraging and supporting with cleaning and administrative duties.
• Being able to bring fresh ideas to the team and implement different ways of working.
• Stock checking Individuals Medications and Finances.
• Support with personal care and health

Shift Times vary and include daytime hours, afternoons and we also have sleep ins, which you will receive an enhancement for.
You will receive your rotas at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance so you have time to plan your social life around work.
What skills and experience do you need?
***Due to the need of the individuals in this service, this is a female only role***
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided. More important are;
• A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
• An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
• A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
• A full manual UK Driving Licence is required for this role

• An hourly rate of £11.05 making the annual salary £21,260 (FTE)
