We are recruiting Care workers to join our passionate and committed team at Plas Bryn Rhosyn Older Persons Residential Care Home in Neath.
We have 24 hour and 30 hour, part time, permanent positions available. This service needs to be staffed 24/7 so you will be required to work various shift patterns including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights and sleep in shifts as part of a rolling rota. Day shifts are typically split between 7am-11pm, with sleeps ins as extra.

This Care Worker job is based at Plas Bryn Rhosyn; a 59 bed residential care home on Dwr y Felin Road, Neath. As a care worker, you will work with the residents closely on a daily basis, assisting them to live their lives to the full. You will assist them with all of their needs (including personal care) according to their wishes. Becoming a friend and having fun with them is one of the most important parts of the role. Day to day duties include: • Ensuring health and wellbeing of residents. • Providing personal care and emotional support. • Medication administration. • Participating in stimulating activities. • Involving residents in a person-centred approach. What skills and experience do you need? A background of working with people with Older persons is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.
