Following significant investment into Children and Young People Services, we have further resourced our teams and enhanced our services for children in need of care and support.
We are now reviewing and developing our support services to children and families who use our services and are looking for a Team Manager, who is dynamic, creative and cares about helping families achieve their outcomes. You will be tasked with working as part our Divisional Management Team to develop and lead our Interventions Hub.
This Hub will help to deliver the right help at the right time, and will flip the narrative from what services are available, to what does this family need to achieve their potential.
Salary on appointment will depend upon qualification and experience as determined by the appointing officer.
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 (with weekend on-call rota)

Description:
The vision is that the successful candidate will provide development, leadership and management for an expanding service that will offer relationship based interventions to children and families known to statutory services (including edge of care and crisis support). Staff will be offered support as and when needed, so participation in an on call rota will be necessary.
You will be responsible for setting up the Interventions Hub which will include working with colleagues to pull together our wider suite of services for families in the Vale ensuring that families get easy access to purposeful, meaningful support that helps them build on their strengths, no matter where they are in the system.
About you
You will need:
A thorough understanding of the needs of children who need care and support and experience of supervising others, alongside a commitment to relationship-based practice with children, young people and their families. Experience of developing services will be a bonus.
To be successful, you will:
• Know what good practice looks like.
• Be experienced in delivering excellent outcomes for children, young people and their families.
• Be able to manage risk confidently, take a strength based approach and promote strong partnerships across a range of multi-agency partners.
• Demonstrate commitment to relationship based practice.
