We are currently seeking a person who pay's attention to detail, has empathy and compassion, good communication skills and Time Management skills to join our team as a Domestic Assistant.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards within our home.
This includes ensuring that all living spaces, common areas and shared spaces are kept clean, safe and comfortable for both the individuals we support and staff members.
It's important that our Domestic Assistants have a level of care and understanding for those we support, and are comfortable communicating with everyone who lives, works and visits the home.
Your daily routine as a domestic assistant in Trem Y Glyn, will involve using your attention to detail to ensure that our home is clean, inviting and welcoming.
You'll carry out daily and weekly cleaning routines including dusting, mopping, polishing, Ironing and vacuuming.
It'll be your responsibility to ensure that all communal areas such as dining rooms, lounges and lavatories are kept to a high standard and comply with infection control guidelines.
You may also be required to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards in our resident's rooms, whilst making sure to respect the privacy and individual needs of everyone we support. It'll be your job to ensure our inventory of cleaning and hygiene supplies are maintained.
About you: Do you have:
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
- A high standard of personal presentation and hygiene
- Excellent customer service skills
- Sound knowledge of safe cleaning techniques
- Awareness of risk Assessments
- Good Communication Skills
There are no formal qualifications required for this role, as full training will be provided
We would welcome those with experience in the following roles:
- Domestic Assistant from Public sectors eg, Schools, NHS & Domiciliary and residential care.
- Domestic Assistant from Private sectors eg, Retail, Private residential providers
