We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive Activities Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team in our large residential care home in Port Talbot. At Pobl, this job is known as an Engagement & Enablement Co-Ordinator.
This is a 25 hour per week, permanent opportunity.

This service is a large, modern, purpose-built residential care home with an excellent reputation of being a quality and valued care provider where the needs of the residents are at the centre of all that they do.
The team understand that everyone is unique. Tailored care is designed to meet the individual needs and wishes of each resident at the home. Staff are highly trained and understand the importance of enabling people to keep control of their lives.
What is the role?
This service is the home of 60 residents, all with individual personalities and different support needs including some with dementia.
As our Activities (Engagement and Enablement) Co-Ordinator you will co-ordinate the activities programme within the service. You will work with residents in order to provide each one with an activities programme based on their needs, likes, dislikes and abilities whilst also taking into account their choices and preferences.

What skills and experience do you need?
Experience of building community and relationships that benefit people we support The ability to follow Care Plans from various stakeholders Ability to support our customers and people we support in an aspirational, inspirational & person centred way.
