Foel Farm is residential home situated near Newcastle Emlyn, in which we support and care for adults with mixed abilities who exhibit behaviour that challenges.
An opportunity has arisen for a patient, enthusiastic and motivated person with life skills to join our staff as a carer/support worker. The applicant will need to have excellent care, life, and communication skills, as staff are often working one to one with clients and liaising with relatives and visitors either to the home or on the phone. The post holder needs to be dedicated to ensuring accurate details are maintained that will enable the smooth running of the home and contribute to improving the client’s life experience.
The successful candidate will need to be able to think on their feet, be flexible, and possess organisational skills. You will work closely with the Client and the other staff who along with the Multidisciplinary Team provide care and life experience within the home, garden and with farm animals, in a challenging yet rewarding environment. The post is Full time and consists of shift work Inc nights and weekends. The post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) police and identity check.
Previous experience is not essential as training is given.
