We have a fantastic opportunity available to join a new and exciting project, which aims to develop the children's care and support market in Pembrokeshire.
We are looking for someone with the passion, skills and commitment to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people both now and in to their adulthood, someone who always places the individual at the centre of their work and who is committed to service improvement and able to offer constructive challenge to deliver improved outcomes for local people.
Working within the Joint Strategic Commissioning division of Pembrokeshire County Council, the Commissioning and Contract Management Officer role will work with care and support providers and other professionals to source good quality care and support for children and young people with disabilities and Children and Young People Looked After. The role will involve contract monitoring, quality improvement and multi-agency working to ensure that the best possible outcomes are achieved for Pembrokeshire's children and young people.
Ideally with experience of children's social care, commissioning, or both, you will play a critical role contributing to the development of the children's care and support market in Pembrokeshire.
