Fundamental to our success will be the opening of a new café, farm shop and events business and we're looking for a Chef Manager to play a leading role in developing our new catering offer ready for our grand opening.
With an all-new kitchen design and restaurant area the Chef Manager will have an incredible culinary space to develop new menus and food operations for both visitors to the attraction and those visiting the Farmhouse Café and farm shop set within the heart of Cwmbran.
From recruitment of the catering team, ongoing development and refinement of the food offer and leading the event catering, we're looking for someone with a passion for the culinary arts, connecting visitors with our farm to fork ethos and championing local produce.
With a keen eye for growing catering revenues and monitoring margins, the Chef Manager will need to have a good understanding of the latest food trends and catering systems including procurement and stock management. Experience within the visitor attraction or leisure industry, understanding balancing peak months would be an advantage as we look to welcome over 100,000 visitors a year to the Farm.
We are also looking for someone that can help to develop and deliver the wedding and events menus either in house or in partnership as we look to grow the events business on the Farm.
Working regular weekends and some evenings depending on the growth in our events business we need someone passionate and dedicated to their food craft.
If you are an inspirational and enthusiastic Chef Manager keen to make a name for yourself within the food service industry, we would love to hear from you!
