Community Care Assistant

📃Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time
🕰️Shifts: 07:00–15:00 and/or 15:00–22:30 (including weekends & bank holidays)
🚗Driver essential – access to your own vehicle is required🚗

We’re looking for caring, reliable and flexible Community Care Assistants to help older adults live safely and comfortably in their own homes across Bridgend and Porthcawl.

Whether you have experience in care or are new to the sector, if you’ve got the right values, we’ll provide full training and support to help you thrive.

What You’ll Be Doing

✅Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) in a respectful and dignified way
✅Supporting with meals, medication, and mobility
✅Offering companionship and emotional reassurance
✅Building trusting relationships with clients and their families
✅Keeping clear and accurate records
✅Communicating effectively with your care team

What We’re Looking For

✅Naturally kind, patient, and professional
✅Flexible with shift patterns and happy to work alternate weekends
✅Reliable and confident working independently
✅Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (essential)
✅Previous care experience helpful but not essential – full training provided
✅Willingness to complete NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care
