Day Services Support Worker / Driver

We have a range of facilities on site including a fully accessible environment; main day room for socialising; a quiet TV lounge; assisted bathroom; interactive technology and craft equipment.

At Rondel House we provide a lunchtime meal to ensure good nutrition. Our experienced staff team are able to help with personal care and we have specialist disability equipment available on site.

About the role
Pay Details: Grade 4: £24,790 - £25,584 (£12.85 - £13.26ph) pro rata
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 28hrs (Monday - Friday)
Main Place of Work: Rondel House
Temporary Reason: N/A
Description: To provide care and support to service users whilst attending the Day Centre.

About you
You will need:

• Experience of working with older people and people with disabilities


• Experience of working with people with Dementia


• Experience of working in a team environment


• Basic awareness of the needs of older people and people with disabilities


• Good listening and communication skills


• Ability to interact positively with others at all levels


• Be reliable and have a flexible approach


• Be willing to undertake appropriate training


• Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as appropriate


• Clean driving license with D1 category.
