Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Hours: 15 per week | 17:00 – 22:00 | 3 shifts on, 3 shifts off (includes weekends & bank holidays)

About Towy Castle

Located in three acres of peaceful gardens overlooking the Towy estuary, Towy Castle is a 61-bed residential care home providing specialist support for older adults and those living with dementia. With over 35 years of trusted care, our team takes pride in creating a warm, respectful, and person-centred environment for every resident.

Your Role

As an Evening Care Assistant, you’ll help residents settle in for the evening and ensure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported before bedtime.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
Supporting residents with meals, drinks, and evening routines
Providing companionship and reassurance to residents winding down for the night
Helping maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment
Monitoring wellbeing and promptly reporting any changes to senior staff
What We’re Looking For

✔ Previous experience in a care setting (preferred)
✔ NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
✔ Compassionate, patient, and dependable
✔ Great communication and teamwork skills
✔ Flexibility to work on a 3-on / 3-off rota, including weekends and bank holidays
