As the Team Manager of the Families First programme, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality preventative services for children, young people, and their families. You will manage the Families First Team Leads and all staff within the programme, ensuring that our services meet the requirements set by Welsh Government guidance. Your role will involve overseeing the daily operations, conducting needs assessments, and implementing robust support plans.
Your leadership will be crucial in promoting safeguarding practices and ensuring professional standards through regular supervision, appraisals, and training opportunities. You will also play a key role in developing relationships with partner agencies to enhance service delivery and lead the Team Around the Family model. Additionally, you will ensure seamless links with other Welsh Government initiatives, fostering a comprehensive support network for families. Your commitment to continuous improvement will drive the performance of the Families First team, ensuring we consistently meet and exceed our goals. You will be responsible for interpreting data to understand local needs and shaping services to achieve the best outcomes. You will also oversee the disability strand of the programme, ensuring inclusivity and support for all families. By managing commissioned elements and maintaining high standards, you will help us adapt to the evolving needs of our community.

You should have a proven track record in managing teams and delivering preventative services. Your leadership style should be inclusive and motivational, fostering a collaborative work environment.
