Job Purpose: As a service provider Anheddau has identified its staff as the key to the provision of quality services in actively supporting people to maximise their potential in their communities. As a House Manager you will be accountable for the day to day running of the services and staff teams. One of the key areas of responsibility will be to ensure that you promote, and value strength based, person centred approaches as a central method of enabling people to have as much control over their lives as possible, empowering the person to become valued members of the community, and to ensure that our services deliver high quality care in all aspects of the person’s life.

You are expected to champion, role model and embrace Anheddau’s values through strong leadership and inspirational behaviour to support Anheddau achieves its strategic business outcomes by developing dynamic and collaborative relationships with partners and our teams in delivering our vision and whole organisation outcomes for the people who access our support services and will be required to:

Lead and manage the day to day running of the services in delivering the highest quality care and support services, underpinned by the Person-Centred philosophy of care within which Anheddau operates
Lead with honesty and conviction by being both self-aware and reflective in your work that promotes strong and open relationships of trust in the management of a team of Support Workers so that they are supported in carrying out their duties effectively in providing a caring, safe environment to enable everyone to do their jobs effectively
Ensure that a high-quality care service is provided which meets the needs of local people and maintains the persons dignity and independence.
Empower staff to think creatively about enabling people who use our services to increase their Independence and live the best possible life within their communities
To work with external professionals and families in the implementation and review of support provision, building and sustaining trusted and credible professional relationships between staff and other stakeholders involved.
Lead and develop your team by actively supporting colleagues in an open and honest way, reflecting on your performance and behaviour, and seeking opportunities to improve and develop
