We are now seeking to employ the following post of Youth Justice Service (YJS) Intensive Interventions Officer.
What We Are Looking For From YouThe successful candidate will deliver evidence-based interventions and activities to young people across the whole Youth Justice Service, including facilitating more intensive packages of support for any young people on statutory Intensive Supervision and Surveillance (ISS) orders.
The post holder will promote UNCRC rights of the child, ensuring activities encompass diversity and provide opportunities for desistence.
An understanding of the criminal justice system as it affects children and young people would be a distinct advantage as would experience of delivering interventions and adopting a Trauma Informed Approach.
