INTERNAL JOB. This vacancy is only available to Torfaen County Borough Council (TCBC) employees and agency workers currently engaged with TCBC.

Fixed Term, until 31/03/2026
32.5 Hours per week, Term time only.
The Early Years Team is looking for a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Childcare Worker to provide care for children under the age of two. This will include sleep routine, feeding, weaning and appropriate play environment.
You will be responsible for assisting the Childcare Supervisor in providing a high-quality childcare provision within this area.
The post holder must have a relevant qualification in Early Years/Childcare such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
The ability to speak Welsh would be an advantage or the willingness learn.
You must have experience of working with children age 0-2 years and an understanding of what's required to provide a high-quality learning environment for 0-5 year olds. Experience of Flying Start provision would be desirable.
