Learning Support Assisstance

Set within 18 acres of beautiful countryside, Summergil House School supports children with autism and complex needs in a calm, therapeutic environment where small class sizes mean you can truly make a difference. As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver engaging, individualised learning, support pupils emotionally and academically, and take part in enriching outdoor and off-site activities.

We’re looking for people who are:
• Passionate, patient, and resilient
• Experienced in a similar role (12 months+)
• Qualified in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
• Confident supporting children with routines and personal care when needed

• Experienced in a similar role (desirable but not essential — full training will be provided)
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
• Confident supporting children with daily routines and personal care when required, always with dignity and compassion
