About the jobThe ILS Mentor will deliver a wide range of training across the service area to ensure our teams are working collaboratively, adopting a strengths based ethos to the support they provide to the citizens of Cardiff.
The role will involve developing and implementing new and existing training materials, and identifying new training that would develop and improve current provision.
The ILS mentor will support staff following training, working closely with our Quality & Assurance team, to ensure standards are maintained, reporting mechanisms are accurately followed, and accreditation is achieved wherever possible.
You will provide participant feedback on their progress / development and utilise the wider ILS Service for participants to receive further support.
What We Are Looking For From YouPrevious experience of delivering training and mentoring.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to differing situations. You will have the ability to resolve disputes in a positive and constructive manner. You will work well in a team and be adaptable to cover new topics when required.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
