We are looking for a suitably experienced and self-motivated individual to join a well-established Learning Disability Day Service Management Team.
Your role will be to work as part of a team to provide effective leadership and management of people and performance in a social care context, ensuring that the service we deliver is consistently of high quality, person centred and outcome led.
You will be expected to-
Work alongside the day service manager to take the lead for a designated area of the day service.
Monitor and review services to ensure they remain person centred and that agreed outcomes are met.
Effectively supervise member of the day service team and actively contribute to the Personal Performance and Development Review process.
Undertake risk assessments for day service activity and contribute to the overall risk management of the service.
Contribute to the day to day running of the day service.
What We Are Looking For From YouExperience of leading and managing a social care team effectively.
A good understanding of and commitment to underpinning social care values and ethics.
Excellent communication skills and possess the ability to use analytical skills to aid problem solving and decision-making.
Flexibility and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast changing service.
A commitment to offering a positive person centred approach to individuals supported by the service.
A belief that people with learning disabilities have the right to achieve their full potential and have the right to be positively engaged within their community.
