We have an exciting leadership opportunity where you can truly make a difference! We’re looking for an experienced and confident Team Manager to lead and inspire a team of colleagues who are supporting individuals with learning and physical disabilities in Monmouthshire.
As a TEAM MANAGER you will oversee operations across 2 services ensuring the focus remains on person centred support based on the needs of each individual and inspire a positive team culture.
This is a full time (37 hour) permanent position, working mainly Monday to Friday 9-5.
A full UK driving licence and access to your own car is essential for this role.

About the role
In this rewarding role, you will lead a dedicated team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that empowers individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives. Your time will be spent across services, where the teams support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and higher personal care needs, ensuring they receive dignified, compassionate support tailored to their needs.
Both services are built around promoting independence, building confidence, and helping individuals develop new skills. The people we support enjoy busy, active social lives, and maintaining their connection with the community is incredibly important to them. Your leadership will play a key role in ensuring they continue to access opportunities, explore their interests, and enjoy meaningful experiences each day.
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for guiding and developing your team, ensuring the service runs smoothly, safely, and in line with all regulatory and organisational standards. You will champion person-centred care, making sure each individual’s aspirations remain at the heart of everything we do while delivering service excellence with professionalism and empathy.
You’ll work alongside the Registered Manager to:
Deliver services in line with RISCA, Care Inspectorate Wales, and Social Care Wales standards Lead recruitment, supervision, development and wellbeing of your teams Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks Manage referrals, rotas, and all aspects of care planning. Support individuals with their individual needs. Collaborate with families, professionals, and partner organisations Use IT systems confidently to manage data, rotas and reporting Participate in the on-call rota and support other services as needed
Skills and Experience Needed
Proven leadership experience in adult social care Strong IT literacy and organisational skills Knowledge of HR and recruitment practices (desirable) Experience supporting individuals with complex needs Understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks QCF/ NVQ in Health & Social Care (and willingness to work towards Level 4) Full driving licence and access to a vehicle A flexible, proactive mindset and a passion for making a difference

Annual salary of £32,295 Pension Choices: Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%.
