Care Assistant - Bank

• Days 8am - 8pm
• Night 8pm - 8am
• Short shift 8am - 2pm or 2pm - 8pm

• The ability to be flexible, as a bank employee you will be helping to cover periods of absence of permanent staff, sometimes at short notice.
• An ability to communicate clearly & effectively with residents, family and other staff.

• Smart appearance/personal presentation
What you can expect your duties to include (this list is an example and not an exhaustive list of duties):
• Supporting and/or enabling residents with activities of daily living (including washing, dressing, feeding, mobilising), following their individual care plans
• Escorting residents on arranged medical or social trips
• General day to day social interaction, enabling and encouraging independence where possible
• Recording both yours and the residents activities accurately and in a timely manner using our Care Management app, Log My Care (work phones provided for this purpose)
• Promoting and maintaining at all times the resident's privacy, choice, personal dignity, independence and comfort.
• At all times being aware of and working to the principles of -
Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Infection Control, Confidentiality
