Senior Care Assistant (Days)

Duties
• Supervise and support care staff in delivering exceptional care to residents.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Drive initiatives that promote a safe and welcoming environment within the care home.
• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to senior management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' progress and any incidents that occur during shifts.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in senior care.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in senior care or a similar role is essential.
• NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising a team preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of IT systems related to care management is advantageous.
• A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to improve the lives of seniors.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Ability to drive is preferred but not essential
